Information under Art. 13 GDPR

Controller
The controller for the processing of your data on this website is DK Bausanierung GmbH, Hämmerlegasse 18/7/4, 1100 Vienna, Austria, registered with the Commercial Court of Vienna under FN 684282y. You can reach us at office@dkbs.at; further details are in the legal notice. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer; the managing directors answer your requests themselves.
What this website does not do
This website loads nothing from third-party servers. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising networks, no embedded map and no fonts from outside providers: the font files sit on the same server as the page. Anyone who only looks around leaves nothing behind except the technical logs described in the next point.
Visiting the website
When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary information to our host: IP address, date and time, the file requested, the status code, the amount of data transferred and the browser and operating system identifier. These logs serve operation and defence against attacks; they arise at the host and are deleted there after a short time. We do not evaluate them and do not combine them with any other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Language choice
When you pick a language at the top, your browser remembers that choice on your device (entry dkbs-lang with the value de, en or sr). It is not a cookie, nothing is transmitted to us, and the entry contains no personal data. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Enquiry form
The form asks for your name, telephone number and email address; town, project, preferred timing and your message are optional. We use these details solely to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your enquiry goes to our mailbox and you receive a confirmation at the address you gave. To keep automated submissions out, the form contains a field invisible to people and measures how long filling it in took; the only thing evaluated is whether both together point to a program (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You are welcome to call or write to us directly instead.
Recipients and service providers
We use three processors acting on our instructions: Cloudflare, Inc. serves the website and receives the form submission; Resend, an email delivery service based in the USA, sends the mails that result from it; Google Ireland Limited runs the mailbox your enquiry arrives in. Data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all three. We do not sell data and do not pass it on for advertising; beyond that we disclose only what we are legally obliged to.
Transfers to the USA
Cloudflare and Resend are based in the United States, and processing outside the EU can also take place at Google. We base these transfers on the European Commission standard contractual clauses and, where the provider is certified under it, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Authorities in the USA can have wider rights of access than in the European Union, so a level of protection equivalent in every respect cannot be guaranteed.
How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted no later than twelve months after the last contact. Where a job does come about, we keep the documents for as long as tax and commercial law requires: in Austria seven years from the end of the calendar year concerned (§ 132 BAO).
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to office@dkbs.at is enough.
Complaints
If you believe we are not processing your data properly, you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at.
No automated decisions
We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing, and we do not create profiles.
Updates
If we rebuild the website or start using new services, we update this text. The version published here is the one that applies.
